Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy

Effective: 16 April 2026

Ozeart allows order cancellations before dispatch for a full refund. Custom commissions and dispatched orders follow separate terms outlined below.

Before Dispatch — Full Cancellation

You may cancel your order at any time before the artwork has been dispatched by the artist. In such cases, you are entitled to a full refund with no deductions.

To cancel before dispatch, contact our support team at contactus@ozeart.com or via WhatsApp as soon as possible after placing the order.

  • Cancellation requests are processed within 1 business day of receipt.
  • You will receive a cancellation confirmation email once the request is approved.
  • Refund is initiated immediately after cancellation confirmation.

After Dispatch — Cancellation Not Available

Once an artwork has been dispatched and a tracking number has been assigned, the order can no longer be cancelled. This is due to the high handling and logistics costs involved in retrieving artworks in transit.

If you wish to return the artwork after delivery due to transit damage, please refer to our Return Policy.

Check your order status in your account under Orders before contacting support. If the status shows 'Dispatched' or 'Shipped', cancellation is no longer possible.

Custom & Commissioned Artworks

Personalized, commissioned, framed-to-order, or made-to-specification artworks cannot be cancelled once the artist has commenced production — typically within 24–48 hours of order placement.

For custom orders, the production start date is communicated in your order confirmation. Cancellation requests must be submitted before this date.

  • Commissioned paintings and custom portraits.
  • Artworks with personalised inscriptions, dedications, or collector names.
  • Custom-framed prints or stretched-canvas prints.
  • Artist-signed, numbered limited editions where the artist has already signed the piece.

Refund Process for Cancellations

For approved pre-dispatch cancellations, refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days. Bank processing times may add an additional 2–3 business days.

  • Razorpay refunds typically reflect within 5–7 working days.
  • Stripe refunds (international payments) typically reflect within 7–10 working days.
  • UPI refunds may reflect within 1–3 business days, subject to the issuing bank.
  • You will receive a refund confirmation email once the refund is initiated.

How to Request a Cancellation

To request a cancellation before dispatch, use any of the following channels:

  • Email: contactus@ozeart.com — Subject: Cancellation Request — Order #[ID].
  • WhatsApp: +91 99365 05922 — share your Order ID and registered email.
  • Support hours: Monday to Saturday, 10 AM – 7 PM IST.
Always include your Order ID and registered email address when reaching out for the fastest resolution.
